This wine reveals an intensely aromatic cedary, dried herb, and black cherry-scented nose, but its abrasive tannin level is troublesome. Although well-made, it displays a gritty texture, medium body, and an angular, rustic character to the tannin. If that softens (which I doubt), this wine will merit its 87 point score.
