RP Rating: 86
A well-made wine in a vintage that favored the right bank more than the Medoc, La Fleur's 1994 exhibits a medium deep ruby color, as well as attractive berry fruit intermixed with vanillin and spice. On the attack, the wine offers medium-bodied, concentrated flavors that are straightforward, pleasant, and pure, without any pretentiousness. This tasty, almost Burgundian-styled St.-Emilion should drink well during its first 5-8 years of life. Anticipated maturity 1997-2002. - Robert Parker 1998 -
